Astro*Talk: $12.00
This is the "about me" report with which almost everyone seems to
start. It's rather detailed, and the information is set out in
different chapters.
You can see a sample here: feel free to
print it out and peruse. It's a
chart for Annwn, the Wild Wyrd Web Site, which means it's not really a
human, but putting up the chart isn't likely to offend it, either. ;-)
(The page opens in a new window so that you can simply print it out and
close the window, if you like.)
If you're a beginner, you may want me to add the "About
Astrology" tutorial which comes with this report. It's a quick guide to
what the astrological terms are all about. Please just request it in
the Comments area of the Order Form. I will gladly
add it, free of charge.
If any of the following describes you, you will probably find yourself
enjoying this report.
- Interested in exploring your personality from a detailed astrological
standpoint.
- Looking for a detailed astrological chart with a little perspective on
"what's happening with me now."
- Looking for a decent gift for someone!
- Introduction
- A brief overview of the type of results one might expect from
astrology. Includes your rising sign and your chart data.
- Planet Aspects
- A listing of all the aspects in play on your birth chart, and an
interpretation of what they mean. This is split into four
sub-chapters: The Lights (Sun and Moon); the Inner Planets (Mercury and
Venus); the External Planets (Mars, Jupiter and Saturn); and the Outer
Planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto).
- Challenges and Abilities
- I do not typically include this chapter. It simply lists the
"good" aspects of your chart and the "bad" or challenging ones, and you
get exactly the same information as in the Aspects chapter, only organised
differently. I've found this isn't very helpful, so I leave it out. Just
ask in the Comments part
of the order form if you want this included.
- Major Life Periods
- This is a brief overview of your life, based on the progess of Saturn
and your first Saturn return, which you may or may not already have
experienced. It also tells you a little of where you are "at" now,
astrologically speaking.
- Elements, Modalities and Angularities
- Each sign of the zodiac has particular characteristics -
yin/yang; earth-air-water-fire; and whether it is cardinal, fixed or
mutable. Each house of the chart has a characteristic also - angular - the
four "corners" of a chart, starting with your ascendant; the succedent
houses (which directly follow the angular ones), and the cadent, which
directly follow the succedent. This chapter explores which of those
qualities are highlighted by having or lacking planets in particular signs
or houses.
- Burn Rate
- An exploration of whether you cram a lot of experiences into one
lifetime, or tend to stick with things and develop them over a
lifetime. It also highlights areas of your life (as symbolised by
planets) where you might expect increased activity.
- Patterns
- The outer and inner self, when compared, can give a "soul type", or
general kind of personality. What you show to others may not be what you
are really like. This chapter explores this idea, and what kind of person
you might be overall.
- Interface
- An exploration of planetary nodes - which can highlight those areas
towards which you are inclined, or disinclined.
- Major Transits
- Transits are the movement of the planets in the zodiac now, and how
they relate to your fixed birth chart. Transits can give an idea of what
is going on with a person right now, and this section picks out the main
ones and tells you about them.
- House Activity and Emphasis
- A description of the twelve houses - both general and in relation to
your own birth chart. This gives an idea of your attitudes to a whole set
of areas of your own life.
