Child*Star is a report designed specifically for grown-ups to understand their children. It is a detailed, clearly-written and above all compassionate report, invaluable to anyone who would like to know what makes one's little Pisces or Taurus tick, to become a better parent for that child.

In the original report, there is a section called "Challenges and Abilities". I do not typically run this section, because it almost exactly repeats the aspects described earlier in the report, and does not seem to add any particular value to the report. If, however, you would like me to run this section for you, just specify it in the order form comments. (Bottom of the order form.)

Introduction

In the introduction, the author not only describes the report and how it works, she makes some extremely important observations about how to use it. The primary one is that this report should never replace common sense and your own instinct about the child. If this is your first Child*Star report, it's vital that you read this and use the report properly.

Rising Sign, Planet Aspects

The rising sign is described, along with the placement of each planet in its appropriate sign and the aspects it makes. These form a basic description of the child's personality.

Challenges and Abilities

There are three parts to this - focus, potential and talents. Each one is a descriptive paragraph or so which summarise the important parts of the report.

Major Life Periods

A brief section which gives an idea of what happens when, and what is going on right now.

Elements, Modalities and Angularities

These astrological terms give a "texture" to the birth chart, an overview of what kind of person your child is. Each one is examined in turn/

Patterns: Inner and Outer Self

Here, the inner world and the outer world of your child are compared. Sometimes a child is much the same on the outside as on the inside; often, though, these two worlds differ, and this section helps you with that.

Houses

Each house - or area of life - is taken in turn, and described. Some houses are more emphasised because of the planets which are found therein; others are simply "3rd House Libra" kind of descriptions, with no particular emphasis. This section helps you to understand where your child stands on any of a number of areas of life (friends, family, career/school...)
