Friends and Lovers: $12.00
This is a synastry report - a report of the interaction between two
people's charts. The two charts are more or less juxtaposed, and the
angles and interactions between each person's planets are explored. It
gives an insight into how each person approaches relationships, and then
how they work together in this relationship.
This report can be set to either "romantic" mode or
"platonic" mode. However, in the "platonic" mode, a section about how each
person approaches love relationships is included. This is clearly not
relevant, particularly in family relationships, so I generally remove
it. While the other text does occasionally refer to a person's taste in
romantic relationships, it does so only in passing and in the
wider context of your friendship/other kind of platonic relationship.
If it's a family relationship, I can change one of
the names to "your brother" or "your Mom" as you choose. I think you get a
better report this way. (However, both people in any report of this kind
must be at least eighteen years old.)
You will probably find this report most interesting if you are:
- Interested in exploring your relationships, whether platonic or
romantic.
- Newly-wed or newly-engaged or just newly-dating.
- Looking to gain a new understanding of an existing relationship.
- Want something to talk about with your partner or friend.
- Want a new insight into a close business relationship.
- Curious about synastry.
- Need a present for a wedding, engagement party or anniversary!
- Astrological Compatibility
- A brief chapter explaining the nature of astrological compatibility -
how it works. To this I would add the following: all charts have areas
which are harmonious and which are troublesome. These contradict one
another. The best way to approach this, in my opinion, is to consider that
in a happy relationship, you're manifesting more of the
"good/happy" features, while in an unhappy one, you will manifest more of
the "bad/unhappy" features. Beyond that, how you learn from the
information is up to you.
- How You Approach Relationships
- This chapter examines how a person approaches a romantic
relationship. As it has no place, really, in a platonic relationship's
report, it does not appear there. What we are looking at here is anything
to do with the 7th house and Venus.
- Strengths in Your Relationships
- In this chapter, we look at good features/strengths in the first
person's relationships. This is done by examining certain of the aspects
in that person's natal chart. It gives an idea of what this person would
bring to any relationship - some reference is made to romance, but this
is much more general.
- Challenges in Your Relationships
- As above, but areas where there might be difficulties or problems.
- First Person's Relationship with Second Person
- This chapter explores aspects which the first person's chart makes to
the second's, in general. It gives an overview of what kind of thing the
two people bring out in each other.
- Strengths in the Relationship
- This chapter examines the good parts of the relationship, and the ways
in which the first person supports the second.
- Challenges in the Relationship
- As above, but specific areas where there might be trouble.
- Repeat
- The next few chapters repeat, but are from the perspective of the
second person.
